Saturday I get a phone call.
Sunday I give a response.
Tuesday I'm in Florida.
Life has found me housesitting for a woman that mainly participates in dog shows. I'd say its her job, but no one really gets paid to show dogs. They are, however, paid handsomely in love from their furry colleagues. Currently I'm caring for eight dogs, two housecats, two outside cats, and eight birds at the beautiful country home of the owner. I'll be here for about three weeks.
Slowly, I will introduce you to the various dogs.
Five caveliers, a boxer, a border collie, and a yellow lab.
I thought I'd start by looking up. This is the underside of a tree with spanish moss hanging from it.
This is one of my two forms of transportation for these first few days.
No, I'm not referring to the Mercedes in the background.
All my groceries were stocked before I got here.
This red cabbage that I pulled out of the fridge had sand on it.
Shout out to print:relief.
Mid-morning gossip.
That "dreamy" effect you see was caused by, well, nothing that I did at all.
Introducing: Tailor Made (apparently after the Colbie Caillat song)
If you sing to him, he'll nuzzle his face into yours and sing along.
And: Devlin, the rambunctious, young border collie.
He's beautiful, but he's got a mouth. In the verbal sense.
Stay tuned for more!
