Allison + Ben ::: Engagement

Allison and Ben are friends that I've known all through college. They're such a sweet/beautiful/fun couple, so shooting their engagement was a blast. I'm not sure, but I think smiling is their favorite.

Caitlin + Drew ::: Engagement

These two have become great friends of mine. Caitlin is to blame for many of the adventures I have gone on. She assisted me this summer with shooting weddings and has since launched her own website as she is pursuing various artistic avenues.

Drew and Caitlin initially met so that we could travel on a team to South Africa. He came, and later the two fell in love and all of that jazz. Over a year later, and they are engaged a preparing to tie the know this summer. I love them both dearly, and I can't wait for their wedding. Naturally, they had a quirky engagement shoot. This one is probably not the last either. In the meantime, reminisce over a delightful afternoon, frolicking around trees and shooting good friends (in the best of ways).

Drew had her ring custom made, 

with a white gold band and a canary diamond bevel set in a yellow gold setting. 

I love me some joyful jumpers.

The sunset that night was incredible, thus a silhouette shot was inevitable.

Madgwick ::: Family

The Madgwicks were a blast to shoot. We traversed a portion land surrounding Tuttle Creek Lake, with Dan and Sarah leading the way. Whilst dodging cow patties and thorny bushes, we collaboratively obtained a modern family portrait. Scroll down for optimal cuteness.

"Guess what?" "Chicken butts!!!!!!"  *emit roars of laughter*

Erin + Jason ::: Wedding

Sometime mid-morning I arrived at the house where Erin and a throng of women were preparing for the wedding. Hair was curling, jokes were cracking, and food was flying. Despite the barrage of pre-wedding tasks to be accomplished, there was a peace in the house. Traveling to Beloit, KS for this wedding really was a delightful experience, and it was a pleasure to meet everyone involved. Best of luck to Erin and Jason as they continue this new phase in their lives.

 This is the flower girl/daughter of the Bride. She was a gem.

Immediately after leaving the church, everyone piled onto a party bus.
